The Office of Inspector General provides autonomous, independent, and neutral oversight over the West Virginia Departments of Health, Human Services, and Health Facilities programs and operations through nine distinct divisions within the Office of Inspector General.
The Board of Review seeks to preserve the integrity of the Departments’ programs by providing citizens with due process through impartial administrative hearings and issuing timely decisions.
Investigations and Fraud Management
The Investigations and Fraud Management Division conducts investigations of internal matters of the Departments and conducts investigations of suspected program fraud and program abuse by outside participants in programs the Departments administers.
The Quality Control Division ensures the integrity of West Virginia Department of Human Services’ programs through impartial evaluation and review of program benefit determinations.
